British designer Alexander Campbell was first introduced to the world of flowers in his early childhood. Raised in the English countryside, he grew up among the honeysuckles and rose bushes that flourished in his grandmother's gardens. It was here that Alexander's appreciation and passion for flowers blossomed, later spurring him to pursue a full-time career in floristry.
After receiving professional training at the London Flower School, Alexander took his talents overseas to Spain where he set up his own business, AC Floral Studio, in Madrid. In an interview with Neo2 Magazine, he explains "AC Floral Studio has helped me find myself, allowed me to be completely independent, and helped me with my mental health. Working with flowers is the simplest and most profound way to establish a communion with nature. You enter a kind of meditative 'bubble of creation' in which the outside world, with all of its problems and concerns, vanishes."
Guided by natural motifs and the art of floriography, Alexander uses color, texture and shape to bring his garden-style arrangements to life. Yet beyond his studio work, Alexander's claim to fame has been his budding social media presence. With over 350,000 combined followers on TikTok and Instagram, his video tutorials have garnered millions of views from flower fans across the globe. Post commenters even inspire his latest designs, which typically showcase themes from popular culture—including astrology, award-winning films, Disney characters and Harry Potter books, to name a few.
